Current Entry耐屈曲 [たいくっきょく] /(n) stiffness/resistance to bending/ (2436950)
Headword 1耐屈曲
Reading 1たいくっきょく
Part-of-speechn
English 1stiffness
English 2resistance to bending
ReferenceALC defines 耐屈曲性 as both "flex resistance" and "flexibility."
CommentI see this word used in the opposite sense, to mean "flexible" or "bend-tolerant". For example, with reference to a sensor cable to be used on moving equipment: "可動部での使用を考慮し、耐屈曲性の高いファイバを採用". I suggest adding "flexibility, bend-tolerance" to the definition.
