When I searched for "もがな" as part of "いわずもがな", which means something like "better left unsaid", the following came up:- "もがない" with a cross-reference to "椀ぐ". So as a matter of interest, I clicked on the cross-reference to see what would come up. Nothing came up. In a way, that did not surprise me because "椀" is a bowl and not a verb form. However, I may have misread something; if so, my apologies. |
