New Entries/Amendments for 2009-10-22

These are the submissions received via the WWW forms for this day. I (Jim Breen) will annotate the submission if I think it needs to be amended or rejected or if I have a question about it. Otherwise it can be assumed that it has been accepted. You can see how it will look in EDICT by looking at the "diffs" file for this day or the next in the diffs directory.

CommentIt is good news to hear that you need more -さ entries. However, in order to understand your comment properly, I am wondering what "better E->J coverage" means.

I did not see "E->J" in your explanatory notes, but perhaps I missed it. Perhaps it is just a common expression like "GG5", which baffled me until you explained it. Some of these abbreviations I manage to understand after a Google search, for example "IME" and "IMO", but it would be good to find the meaning within your site as opposed to having to leave the site and return.

Maybe, unless I missed these on the site, perhaps we could have a list of these abbreviations for the benefit of the uninitiated person [perhaps a little bit like the list of standard abbreviations at the front of most dictionaries].

Editorial Comment Sorry for the eliptical language. "E->J" means using the dictionary in an English-to-Japanese direction. It's just shorthand for this forum; not a "standard abbreviation".
