Current Entry陶片 [とうへん] /(?) ???/RH/
Headword 1陶片
Reading 1とうへん
Part-of-speechn
English 1fragment of pottery
ReferenceSee below.
CommentI see this in text. The meaning is clear, but confirmation of a reading is not so easy to find. I guess that is because it is obvious to all except the novice.

This entry on your site gives a reading and I can find nothing to say that this reading is wrong.

There are the odd 60k Google hits, but more important - as you have often stated - the Google images say all one needs to know about "陶片" . All, of course, except the reading!

I should be pleased to see this promoted and, if by promotion, your experts challenged the reading so much the better. However, I am now content to use "とうへん".
