New Entries/Amendments for 2010-02-20

These are the submissions received via the WWW forms for this day. I (Jim Breen) will annotate the submission if I think it needs to be amended or rejected or if I have a question about it. Otherwise it can be assumed that it has been accepted. You can see how it will look in EDICT by looking at the "diffs" file for this day or the next in the diffs directory.
Annotations completed: 20 Feb.
Current Entry心天;心太 [ところてん] /(n) (1) {food} agar-agar (usu. made from red algae in the family Gelidiaceae, esp. Gelidium crinale)/(2) (gay slang) (uk) (vulg) prostate orgasm/ (1664490)

CommentThe stuff it's made from is called agar-agar (寒天), but the end product (心太) is called gelidium jelly or agar jelly.

If you find it relevant to include the latin name for the stuff, maybe it's more appropriate to add it to the 寒天 entry.

Editorial Comment As I commented, you can get that by putting into the kanji lookup.
I have no interest in having a "dictionary" that says 東京 is "Eastern Capital" or 大阪 is "Big Hill".
