These are the submissions received via the WWW forms for this day. I (Jim Breen) will annotate the submission if I think it needs to be amended or rejected or if I have a question about it. Current Entry種々 [しゅしゅ] /(?) ???/RH/
Headword 1種々
Reading 1しゅしゅ
Part-of-speech?
English 1???
English 2RH
ReferenceSee below.
CommentI am wondering if the above RH was not removed in your sweeping exercise because it has the reading of "しゅしゅ" as opposed to "しゅじゅ."

See the following entries:-

種々 【しゅじゅ】 various (adj); a variety of (adj); miscellaneous (adj); myriad (adj,n); LS
種々(P); 種種 【しゅじゅ(P); くさぐさ】 (adj-na,adj-no,adv,n) variety; (P)

Should the RH be deleted?

Editorial Comment クリスマス島 is already an enamdict entry. Added キリスィマスィ島.

(0) Better to avoid "frock" here.
Current Entry修道服 [?] /frock/nun's habit/WI2/
Headword 1修道服
Reading 1しゅうどうふく
Part-of-speechn
English 1nun's habit
English 2frock (garment worn by monks and friars)
ReferenceSeeing that frock nowadays means something quite different (from m-w:)

1 : an outer garment worn by monks and friars : habit
2 : an outer garment worn chiefly by men: a : a long loose mantle b : a workman's outer shirt; especially : smock frock c : a woolen jersey worn especially by sailors
3 : a woman's dress

(Although I'm not a native speaker of English, it is my experience that frock usually refers to the second item here)

修道服 is only used to describe religious garments, such as habits (and frocks in the first sense that M-W provides). Therefore I think "frock" needs clarification.
