Whilst it gets even more Google hits than "石獣", at about 40k, it does not seem to be easy to find a reference. Even Roy Miller does not seem to give a translation. However, images are clear and the reading is shown often in a Google search [i.e., using your suggestion of searching for both the kanji and the kana together].
It would seem good to include this, should you decide to promote the "石獣" previously submitted. |
