Current Entry花椿 [はなつばき] /(?) ???/RH/
Headword 1花椿
Reading 1はなつばき
Part-of-speechn
English 1camellia flower
ReferenceSee below.
CommentWith over 170k Google hits, a confirmed reading and Google pictures to support, I wonder if you will promote this headword. Goo Japanese also supports it. Based on text, it seems also to be used in the context of equating beauty when describing a woman of good looks.

Headword 1時相名詞
Reading 1じそうめいし
Part-of-speechn-t
English 1temporal noun
English 2In this dictionary, the abbreviation "n-t"
ReferenceSee below.
CommentI was searching for a word and the result had this code: "n-t". I looked up your abbreviations and got the meaning as "noun (temporal)(jisoumeishi)". I then looked up "jisoumeishi" and I got the following:-

時相 【じそう】 (n) {ling} tense

I could then jump to the meaning. However, when a complete novice takes the same road, I am wondering whether you may think that it is a good thing if the entire word, as used in explaining the abbreviations, can itself be looked up in the same dictionary that the novice is using at the time [i.e., your own site]. If so, you may agree to the inclusion of this submission.

Subject to your view on the matter, you may like to consider a similar action on all of the explanatory words which are not already included. I have not checked all of them, but "ふつうめいし" is included as follows:-

普通名詞 【ふつうめいし】 (n,adj-no) {ling} common noun.

However, "ふくしてきめし" is not included [as far as I can see], but we do have the following:-

副詞的語句 【ふくしてきごく】 adverbial; LG
副詞的修飾語 【ふくしてきしゅうしょくご】 adverbial adjunct; LG
副詞的小詞 【ふくしてきしょうし】 adverbial particle; LG
副詞的要素 【ふくしてきようそ】 an adverbial phrase; LG

I am wondering if all the vital Japanese explanatory terms, as used in your Information Sheet, could be included in the main dictionary so that they are easily search, at the first attempt, by a user.

Editorial Comment PoS is "n"; not "n-t". No objection to the suggestion of promoting selected lingdic entries. Just precious little time to do it.

Headword 1無事か
Reading 1ぶじか
Part-of-speechexp
English 1(Are you) alright?
English 2(Are you) ok?
ReferenceJapanese translation of the videogame "Uncharted 2", cut scene at the start of chapter 19. (Used twice.)
CommentThis is clearly different from the definition of 「無事」in this dictionary. I would use 「大丈夫か」myself in such a situation, but I'm not a native speaker.
