Comment1) Some contemporary dictionaries don't point out clearly enough that the
fundamental meaning of ³ä°ú is not just "reduction" but "reduction by a given
portion", whereby it is known that said p@ortion is a tenth. In real life, when a
number x preceeds the term ³ä°ú it therefore means nothing less specific than
"x tenths reduction" or "reduction of (x times 10‚.
2) The same goes for my previous entry (³äÁý), where i had added "(following a
number) 10ncrease" - but for consistency and clarity's sake, could you
please change that to "tenths increase"...? Thanks...

Editorial Comment The "vs" part-of-speech indicates this verb type. I have made the verb a sense of its own.
