CommentReorganized the kanji headwords (not that it's a big deal, because it's usually written in hiragana) and added the symbol that's commonly used in Japan (and is completely different from the convention in Europe and the US - where we use U+2248).

Is あからさま really a reading of 明白, or is it like when 理由 is given わけ as furigana.

CommentOddly enough - meaning, i don't consider this item a rare term ;-) - i have not found it in any of the dictionaries (online and otherwise) that i have access to. (GG4 or 5 anybody?) And since i have never heard this term being spoken, i'd like someone to confirm the reading しゅっしゃ - thanks...

CommentWith reference to the various submissions which have led up to the last submission on "強いため" by "NAME," I was disappointed to see that the end result was the deletion of the headword. I had hoped that your original words "I can't see a problem with it" would have survived the day, however, as for me, I have benefited from the exchanges.

NAME's basic analysis of "is because the viewpoint is strong" looks good to me; and that literal translation somewhat matches my own, namely: "(being) strongly due to (the viewpoint)," which was based upon your [A] link.

As you know from various submissions from me, I like the idea of starting off the translations with the simple basics of meaning and then moving on to idiom. I still believe that the retention of the "強いため," in the manner explained by NAME, would have been a benefit to the novice, but enough of that.

Now that NAME has explained that "there isn't," any difference, i.e., in response to my observation "There is clearly a difference when "ため" is followed by "に" from when it is not so followed," I am wondering whether the above headword and the following headword on your site should now be made identical:-

"為に 【ために】 (conj) (1) (uk) for; for the sake of; to one's advantage; in favor of; in favour of; on behalf of; (2) because of; as a result of"

Some of my own reference books do go into to some wordy explanations which explain the use of "に"in relation to "ため" so I shall be interested to see if you make any changes to your own entries. If you retain both entries, a cross-reference both ways may be of assistance.
