優先度 and 優先席 are quite different words. Both are
in the major dictionaries. Perhaps the subtle difference in the third kanji led to them being confused.

Current Entry優先度 [ゆうせんど] /(n) {comp} priority/ (2390990)
Headword 1優先度
Reading 1ゆうせんど
Part-of-speechn
English 1{comp} extent of priority, degree of priority, etc
ReferenceSee below.
CommentAnxious not to step in on the exchanges of experts, I am wondering whether this entry should be treaty as a "relative" concept. See the suggested amendments above.

As "Name" has stated with "優先席," the addition of "席" to "優先" gives us the "priority seat." Likewise, the addition of "度" gives us a degree or an extent of priority [at least, so it seems to me].

Moreover, the site already has the valid entry for priority, as follows:-

優先 【ゆうせん】 (n,vs,adj-no) preference; priority; precedence; (P).

Indeed, this principal entry of "優先" could carry many suffixes which would give a variety of meanings from "priority seat" to "priority stock holding.

Editorial Comment I think it was a case of confusing 席 and 度.
