Jean-Luc's Suggested Pages
A list of possible web pages and how they could interact with
each others.
All pages could have a menu containing the following items :
- a text field and a button to find a specific entry in the dictionary
- a link to the page to submit a new entry
(when an editor is not logged)
- a link to a log in page
(when an editor is logged)
- a link to a list of pending amendments
- a link to a list of recently accepted amendments
- a link to a list of amendments attributed to the editor
Page 1 - List of entries found from the menu
- each entry is listed with a link to edit it
Page 2 - Edit a specific entry or Submit a new entry
- the page is loaded with the current entry
- contains a button to submit the modifications made by the user
- contains a list of pending amendments regarding the entry
Page 3 - Submit page
- this page is shown after Page 2 and gives a transaction number for the
submission. A direct link to the submission consultation page could be added.
Page 4 - Submission consultation page
- Gives the name of the submitter, date of submission, current status of
the submission (entered, attributed to an editor, closed), description of the submission
- List of comments regarding the submission (from the submitter and the editors)
with the possibility (for an editor) to add/remove a comment
- when the status is entered, the editor have the possibility to attribute it
to himself
- when the status is attributed to the editor, there will be a link to a new
page to accept/reject/modify the submission
- when the status is closed, the same link will allow the editor to cancel
the modifications of the amendment. The entry will then come back to its
previous state. The editor may also modify manually the entry.
Page 5 - List of pending amendments
- This page lists all pending (status = entered) amendments.
- the editor can select all the amendments he wants to be attributed to him
- each amendment have a link to the submission consultation page
Page 6 - List of recently accepted amendments
- This page lists all closed amendments ordered by last modification date
(more recent first)
- each amendment have a link to the submission consultation page
Page 7 - List of amendments attributed to the editor
- This page lists all amendments attributed to the editor
- each amendment have a link to the accept/reject amendment page
Page 8 - Login page
- This page allow an editor to identify himself to the system.
Page 9 - Accept/Reject a part of an amendment, Modify manually an entry,
Remove a closed amendment
- obviously, this page will be similar to Page 2 (for the modification of the
entry).
- each part of an amendment will have buttons so that the editor can accept
(meaning move automatically the amendment into the entry) or reject it
- when all parts of an amendment have been accepted or rejected, the
amendment becomes closed.
